Balance

As we all know, God created the world in seven days. When he returned to the heavenly kingdom, Archangel Gabriel asked him:
-"Where were you?"
-"I was down there, you see?" - said God, pointing down beneath the clouds.
-"What is that?" - asked Archangel Gabriel.
-"It's a planet. I named it Earth. It will be a place with a very good balance."
-"Balance?" - asked Gabriel.
-"Yes, balance" - God replied. "Let me show you... For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunities and wealth, while southern Europe will be a place with nice and warm climate. I also created a continent of black people and a continent of yellow people. Over there is America. Northern America will be wealthy and developed, while southern America will be poorer, but warm and friendly. Do you see the balance?"
- "Yes." - replied Archangel Gabriel. Still impressed, Gabriel pointed towards a place in southeastern Europe.
- "And what is that?" - he asked.
- "Ah..." - replied God. "That's Macedonia. The most glorious place on the face of the Earth. There, I created beautiful mountains with hills covered in snow, untouched springs, forests, lakes, rivers, endless fields full of tomatoes, apples, watermelons, grapes... That will be the place where the Macedonians will live. They will be very capable, smart, hardworking and talented people. "Archangel Gabriel was amazed at what he heard and saw, but one thing was confusing him.
- "Where's the balance here?"
Then God replied:
- "Wait until you see their neighbors."
